Blue Devils Spend Christmas With The Allen Family

DURHAM, N.C.? The Duke women's basketball team adopted a family this Christmas and welcomed them to their Christmas party at Coach P's house over the holidays. Rosa Allen, her three children and one grandchild enjoyed dinner and were surprised with a number of presents for the entire family to enjoy over the holidays.
Each member of the Blue Devil team and staff donated money to purchase the gifts for the Allen family. During the Christmas party, the Blue Devils also handed out their "Secret Santa" gifts and tried to guess who was the special person. Hopefully with the gifts and love the Blue Devils displayed at the party, the family will have a wonderful Christmas, excellent year in 2009 and won over some new Duke fans.
