Senior Wanisha Smith
- Hit a three-pointer in her fifth straight game.

Junior Chante Black
- She continues to be bothered by a virus and played 22 minutes.
- Scored 11 points marking the 18th time out of 21 games she has scored double-figures.
- Added seven rebounds, three blocks, three steals and three assists.
Junior Abby Waner
- With her five three-pointers attempted, moved into third place on Duke's all-time three-point field goals attempted list with 422.
- Hit one three-pointer on the evening, marking the third straight game with at least one trey.
- Dished five assists in 23 minutes, while scoring five points.
Sophomore Bridgette Mitchell
- Came off the bench in the first half to provide a spark as she totaled six points and two rebounds in four minutes.
- She finished the game with eight points, five rebounds, one steal and one block in 10 minutes.
Freshman Jasmine Thomas
- For the eighth time this season, she blocked two or more shots in the contest. In the first half, Thomas had two and she finished the game with two. She also had two points, two rebounds and two steals in 20 minutes.
Sophomore Joy Cheek
- After scoring double-figures one time over the last five games, totaled 14 points.
- Has scored 10+ points 11 times this year and hit her sixth career three-pointer in the second half.
Junior Carrem Gay
- Came off the bench to register eight points, eight rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block in 16 minutes.
Sophomore Keturah Jackson
- Registered all seven of her rebounds in the first half, which was one shy of a matching a career high.
Senior Emily Waner
- Came off the bench to hit her ninth three-pointer of the season in nine minutes.
Freshman Krystal Thomas
- Registered double-figure scoring for the third time this season and the first in ACC action.
- Totaled 10 points, five rebounds, one block, one assist and one steal in 16 minutes.
Other Duke Notes:
- Broke a six-game streak of having more turnovers than assists with 19 assists and 13 turnovers on the night.
- All 12 Blue Devils scored on the night for the first time this season.
- Posted a 25-7 points off turnovers advantage.
- The bench had 35 of Duke's 50 rebounds on the night. Outscored the Hokies bench 37-13.
- Outscored the Hokies 56-28 in the second half. Hit a season-high 59.5 FG% in the second half, which was a season high.
- Duke's last basket in the first half came at the 6:08 mark by Bridgette Mitchell.
- Held a 50-26 points in the paint advantage.
- Continued to struggle getting out to a fast start as the Blue Devils were down 12-7 at the 14:39 mark of the first half. The Blue Devils have had to come from behind in 12 of the 21 contests.
