With The Duke Victory:

Junior Jasmine Thomas
- Posted the third triple-double in school
history with 11 points, 12 assists and 11 rebounds.
- The other triple-doubles in school history
came by Monique Currie vs. Florida State (1-5-06) and Katie Meier vs.
Manhattan (3-11-87).
- Totaled a career-high 12 assists, which also
tied the Duke school record.
- Had a career-high 11 rebounds.
- Had an all-around great first half with six
assists, four rebounds, five points, one blocked shot and one steal in 18
minutes.
Senior Bridgette Mitchell
- Posted double-digit scoring for the third time
this season and the 11th time of her career.
- Finished with 13 points and three rebounds.
Junior Krystal Thomas
- Totaled double-figure scoring for the third
time this season and the 11th time of her career.
- Hit all six of her field goal attempts to
finish with 12 points and five rebounds.
Senior Joy Cheek
- Registered double-figure scoring for the
fourth time this season and 42nd career time.
- Had 11 points and eight rebounds.
Sophomore Shay Selby
- Gave the Blue Devils great minutes off the
bench as she played a season-high 15 minutes.
- Took her first charge of the season.
- Finished with a season-high nine points, three
rebounds, two assists and one blocked shot.
Freshman Allison Vernerey
- Had a career-high 12 points.
Other Duke Notes:
- Defense
held MU to 25.0 percent shooting and forced 19 turnovers.
- Was
outrebounded, 46-43, for the first time this season.
- Hit a
52.5 percent from the field.
- Had five
players score double-figures.
- Held
Marquette to 21.4 percent shooting and forced nine MU turnovers in the
first half.
- The 48.0
percent shooting in the first half is the second-highest for the Blue
Devils this season in the first stanza.
- Held the
Golden Eagles to 16 points in the first half, which is the second-fewest
scored by a Duke opponent in the first half this season.
- Had a
season-low eight steals.
- Will
return home on Saturday and then will host third-ranked Ohio State on Thursday,
Nov. 3 at 7:00 p.m., in the ACC/Big 10 Challenge in Cameron Indoor
Stadium.
