DURHAM, N.C.-- Some of the Blue Devil women's basketball team shared their favorite Christmas memories as well as photos from different parts of their lives growing up.

Some of our best memories are when our family goes to Chattanooga [Tennessee]. The McCallie Christmas is all of the McCallie relatives in Chattanooga which can go up to over 100. It's a huge event that is held at The McCallie School. You connect with people you haven't talked to maybe in two years or more.

Favorite Holiday Memory?
The Christmas when I got my first cell phone. My brother had left the room to call me and my mom was like "What is that ringing?" I remember just screaming and running over to the box! I immediately knew that it was my phone.

An Ipod

Following gift openings, we eat breakfast as a family. My mom throws down in the kitchen.
If you could have anything for Christmas this year it would be?
Tires for my car.

Waking up on the Christmas morning and being with my family for the present opening with my little sister giving one after the other the presents she picked for us to open.

My high school team had an annual Christmas Party at a player's house, where we would play a gift exchange game, eat, and just enjoy ourselves. I looked forward to it every year!

The memory that stands out for me was the Christmas before my mom passed away was the best Christmas by far. It wasn't about the gifts; it was about all of us being together during Christmas. Yes, we did get some great gifts, but it wasn't about that. It was about being together as a family.
