No. 3 Duke Hosts Top Five Matchup With No. 4 Xavier on Tuesday, Dec. 21 at 7:00 PM...
Cameron Indoor Stadium will host its second matchup of top 10 teams of the early season on Tuesday, Dec. 21 as third-ranked Duke (11-0) will host fourth-ranked Xavier (10-0) at 7:00 p.m. The contest will be aired live on www.GoDuke.com via GoDuke Inside Access.
Fans can also catch the game live on the Blue Devil Sports Network, which will be aired live on 620 AM, with Steve Barnes (PXP) and Morgan Patrick (Color) on the air. The Blue Devils will look to defend their 13-game winning streak in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
The Blue Devils are currently 11-0 and are off to the best start for a Joanne P. McCallie team over her 19 years as a head coach. The Blue Devils are currently ranked No. 3 in the Associated Press and No. 4 in the ESPN/USA Today Division I Coaches Polls.

Big Wins...
Over the last three years in Cameron Indoor Stadium, Duke is 4-1 against teams ranked in the top 10. The Blue Devils defeated third-ranked Ohio State, third-ranked Stanford, ninth-ranked North Carolina and seventh-ranked Texas A&M, while falling to No. 1 Connecticut.
In her four years at Duke, Head Coach Joanne P. McCallie has registered 13 victories against ranked opponents in Cameron Indoor Stadium, including five in the top 10.
At Home in Cameron Indoor Stadium...
Since Head Coach Joanne P. McCallie took over as head coach at Duke in 2007-08, she has guided the Blue Devils to a 45-4 overall record in Cameron Indoor Stadium. During that stretch, the Blue Devils posted a 14-0 mark in 2008-09, which was only the second undefeated home season in school history.
Duke is currently riding a 13-game winning streak in Cameron and has won 36 out of the last 37 games at home.

Jackson Sidelined...
Duke freshman Richa Jackson missed her homecoming game at Oklahoma State on Dec. 12 as she suffered a muscle strain in her right shoulder on Dec. 10 during practice. She is expected to miss 1-2 weeks.

Here are a few of those-- scoring (Jasmine Thomas - 14.2, 9th), rebounding (Krystal Thomas - 8.4, T6th), field goal percentage (Haley Peters - 55.0, 7th) and Krystal Thomas (52.2, 10th), assists (Jasmine Thomas - 3.8, 6th), steals (Jasmine Thomas - 2.3, 10th), three-point field goal percentage (Chelsea Gray - 52.2, 2nd) and blocks (Krystal Thomas - 1.5, T3rd).
Bench Points...
Duke is averaging 27.9 points off the bench this season, which is the second-highest total over the last 10 years for the Blue Devils. In 2005-06, Duke averaged 30.1 points off the bench. Other top seasons were 2008-09 (26.2), 2001-02 (25.1), 2002-03 (24.4) and 2007-08 (24.3).
In Coach P's four years, the 27.9 per game average is the highest -- 2009-10 (22.1), 2008-09 (26.2) and 2007-08 (24.3).
After only netting 11 points off the bench against BYU, the Blue Devils responded with 34 points off the bench versus Southern California, 33 at Auburn, 37 points versus Western Kentucky and a season-high 44 at Pittsburgh. Duke struggled with only 15 bench points at Charlotte, but had 24 at James Madison, came back with 33 at Wisconsin and 40 versus Albany.
Thomas Approaching Milestone...
Duke senior Jasmine Thomas is approaching a milestone as she needs only 18 more rebounds and 32 more assists to become the fourth Blue Devil in school history to notch over 1,300 points, 400 rebounds, 400 assists, 200 steals and 50 blocked shots.
Thomas currently owns 1,317 points, 382 rebounds, 368 assists, 227 steals and 50 blocks. Other Blue Devils to notch this are Alana Beard, Monique Currie and Katie Meier.
Duke Moves to No. 3 in the Associated Press Poll...
With Duke moving to No. 3 in the Associated Press Poll on Dec. 7, it matched the highest ranking by the Associated Press poll for Duke since Head Coach Joanne P. McCallie arrived at Duke prior to the 2007-08 campaign. The Blue Devils were No. 3 for one week during the 2008-09 season.
