favor of Duke.

Junior Jasmine Thomas
- Finished with 19 points, three rebounds, two
assists and one steal.
- Hit multiple three-pointers (2) for the fourth
straight game and the fifth time out of seven ACC games.
- Reached double-digit scoring for the 20th
time this season and the 11th straight game.
Junior Krystal Thomas
- Was held to zero points and two rebounds in 18
minutes.
Sophomore Kathleen Scheer
- Finished with six points and one rebound in 10
minutes.
- Had multiple three-pointers for only the
second time this season.
- Hit her seventh three-pointer of the year and
second in ACC action in the first half.
Junior Karima Christmas
- Hit her first three-point field goal attempt
of the game, which marked her first trey against ACC competition this
season.
- Posted eight points and four rebounds in the
first half - in the previous two games had scored only 10 combined points
and in the previous four games had scored only 18 points.
- Finished the game with eight points and seven
rebounds.
- She had missed 10 straight three-point field
goal attempts.
Freshman Allison Vernerey
- Finished the game with eight points and seven
rebounds, while hitting 3-of-5 field goals.
- Took her fifth charge of the season.
- Matched a career high in the first half with
two blocks and went on to finish the game with two.
Other Duke Notes:
- Had only one player with double-figure
scoring (JThomas - 19).
- Held to nine assists.
- Eight different players had one steal.
- Held BC without a field goal the final five
minutes of the game.
- Was outrebounded, 42-33, for only the third
time this season. Broke a 14-game streak
of not being outrebounded.
- Turned the ball over 20 times, which marked
the second time in ACC play Duke has had 20 or more turnovers.
- Totaled nine blocks, which is a season-high
against ACC opponents and the most since eight against Providence on Jan.
3, 2010.
- Hit five three-pointers in the first half (by
four different players).
- Duke will next return home to host
ninth-ranked North Carolina on Monday, Feb. 8 at 7:00 PM on ESPN2.
