DURHAM, N.C.-Duke University redshirt freshman Brandon Gambucci has landed in the wrestling national rankings, coming in at No. 31 of Gregg Henry's/WrestlingReport Division I polls. Gambucci anchors the Duke lineup at 133 pounds.

The Mansfield, Ohio native has had a solid start to the 2011-12 season with three top-four finishes. Gambucci opened the year with a runner-up showing at the Hokie Open, falling to sixth-ranked Devin Carter in the title bout.

Gambucci took fourth at the Wolfpack Open and the Keystone Classic and sports a 10-5 overall record this season. He is 6-2 in matches by decision and has two major decisions and one technical fall and one pin.

Duke returns to action this weekend at the Nittany Lion Open on Dec. 4 at Penn State. There will be live video and live audio coverage of the event.
