While no team point values were awarded, Duke divers registered strong performances on the 1-meter and 3-meter boards.
Senior Cody Kolodziejzyk grabbed first place on the men's side, notching a combined score of 349.28 on the boards. Junior Jordan Long finished third overall, scoring 324.83 points, while freshman Clay Pinckney took fourth at 323.93 and redshirt junior Shawn Hoffman finished sixth with a score of 269.55.
On the women's side, senior Jessica Lyden earned 306.675 points to finish third on the 3-meter springboard. The score also earned her an NCAA Zone qualification.
Both the swimmers and divers will open their spring slate on Saturday, Jan. 14 when they travel to Columbia, S.C., to face South Carolina and the Queens University of Charlotte. That meet is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
