Four Blue Devils Named MLL All-Stars

DURHAM, N.C.--Four former Blue Devils have been selected to the 2015 Major League Lacrosse All-Star roster as announced by the league office Tuesday. The 2015 MLL All-Star Game will be held June 13th at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston, Texas.

Michael Manley and Ned Crotty lead the way for the former Duke standouts as three-time selections, while second-year players Jordan Wolf and Brendan Fowler earn their first all-star nods. The final two teams will be chosen June 12th, in a draft decided by this year's "MLL Ultimate Fan Fantasy" contest winners. The2015 MLL All-Star Game marks the first time Major League Lacrosse will be taking the field in Houston. The game will be televised exclusively live on CBS Sports Network at 7:00 p.m. ET.

Manley and Wolf will represent the Rochester Rattlers, while Crotty hails from the first-place New York Lizards and Fowler from the Charlotte Hounds.

Crotty, an attackman, has helped lead the Lizards atop the league standings with a 7-0 record. The 2010 Tewaaraton Award winner has five goals and nine assists for 14 points. His nine assists rank ninth in the league and.

Wolf is the league's top scorer with 35 points from 21 goals and 14 assists. Rochester currently sits in four-way tie for second place with a 4-3 record. Wolf most recently tallied a career-high six goals to lead the Rattlers to a 15-11 win over the Chesapeake Bayhawks. He has at least three goals in each of the past three games, while his 21 are second in the MLL.

Fowler, a faceoff specialist, ranks third in the league in win percentage at the X. He has won 110-of-203 for a .541 success rate. His 110 wins also rank third and are 61 more than he had in his six games as a rookie. With 54 ground balls, Fowler ranks second in the MLL and has added two goals to the mix.

Rochester's defensive anchor, Manley has played in just four of the Rattlers' seven games this season. He has collected 23 ground balls in that span, just 14 shy of his career-best 37 in 14 outings last season. The Rattlers are 3-1 in his four games.
