DURHAM, N.C.—The popular Duke lacrosse coaching clinics are back for an eighth season in 2015 with the first coming up Sept. 22. They clinics run through December with one per month and all are free and open to coaches of all levels.
Each clinic, featuring the outstanding Duke coaching staff of John Danowski, Ron Caputo and Matt Danowski, will be held in the Murray Building team room with potential for one being held outside. The clinics begin at 7 p.m. and generally run for a two-hour period.
For coaches not from the area can watch the clinics live online at GoDuke.com or catch the archived video. The clinics, the brainchild of Danowksi years ago as a way to grow the game and give back to the community, have been incredibly successful, drawing 20-30 local coaches live and others from as far away as Wyoming and Japan.
The first clinic will be Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. and will run until approximately 9:30 p.m. They normally feature three or four topics over a two-hour span and will incorporate video tutorial as well as chalk talk.
Those who would like to attend a clinic should e-mail Erin Stephenson. The complete schedule of clinics is below.
