Duke Hosts Northwestern for Chance to Advance to NCAA Quarterfinals...
After downing Illinois State, 3-1, Friday in the second round of the NCAA Championships, the third-seeded and 14th-ranked Duke women's soccer team (14-4-3) will host Northwestern (16-2-4) Sunday, Nov. 20 at 2 p.m., in the NCAA Sweet 16. The match will be played at Koskinen Stadium in Durham, N.C., and aired live on ACC Network Extra. Calling the action for ACC Network Extra will be Ryan Craig (PXP) and Jared Rist (Color).
Duke owns a 14-match undefeated streak in NCAA Tournament matches played in Durham, N.C., and has scored five of its six goals in the 2016 tournament during the second half.
The winner of the Duke/Northwestern match will advance to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Championship to face the winner of the UCLA/West Virginia contest.

Duke advanced to the third round of the NCAA Championships behind a 3-0 win over Charlotte and a 3-1 victory over Illinois State. It marks the third time in school history the Blue Devils have posted three or more goals in the opening rounds of the tournament.
