DURHAM, N.C. – Making its fifth quarterfinal appearance of the NCAA Championship over the last six years, the third-seeded and 14th-ranked Duke women's soccer team (15-4-3) will travel to Morgantown, W.Va., Saturday, Nov. 26 for a 3 p.m., contest against top-seeded West Virginia.
The winner of the Duke/West Virginia match will advance to the NCAA College Cup in San Jose, Calif., Dec. 2 & 4 to face the winner of the North Carolina/South Carolina contest.
Duke registered a 3-1 win over Illinois State and 1-0 victory against Northwestern over the weekend to advance into the NCAA Elite Eight. The Blue Devils are the only remaining squad that appeared in the 2015 NCAA College Cup and is looking for a fourth trip to the college cup (1992, 2011, 2015).
Earlier this season, West Virginia upended the Blue Devils, 3-1, Sept. 9 in Durham, N.C.
