Treece to Transfer from Duke

DURHAM, N.C. — Sophomore women's basketball forward Madison Treece will transfer from Duke University. Treece will depart Duke in good academic standing and is expected to transfer to another Division I institution.
“We support Madison and her decision,” said Duke head coach Joanne P. McCallie. “It was a pleasure to know her and to coach her. We wish her the very best for her career.”
Treece, a native of St. Peters, Mo., had appeared in four contests in 2018-19 and a total of 21 games over the last two seasons in Durham.
Duke will next travel to Oregon State Thursday, Dec. 20 for a 10 p.m., contest live on the Pac-12 Network.
