Jasmine Thomas in EuroLeague Women: Halfway through Group Stage
Jasmine Thomas and CCC Polkowice of Poland are halfway through the group stage of European Women's basketball's biggest tournament thus far. Polkowice has five WNBA players on its roster. The team started off shaky with two consecutive losses, but has been undefeated since with a 4-2 record.
Lindsey Harding Fitting into a New Role
Once Lindsey Harding left Duke as the No. 1 pick in the WNBA draft, she went off to play 11 seasons for the WNBA, and spent most of her off-seasons playing for different teams in Europe. But Harding has since left the WNBA as a player, and has now entered the NBA as a scout. She knew she wanted to work for a team since she missed the competitiveness and having a team to call her own. With Harding being the complete package of determined, competitive, and personable, the Philadelphia 76ers were quick to pick her up. She now scouts a little bit of everything for the Sixers.
“The combination of her skill as a player, and the personality and the desire to coach and learn and integrate herself into the NBA, that package was overwhelming,”
