Boykin Looks Back on Thursday's Return to Court

DURHAM, N.C.— After nearly a year away from the game she loves due to an ACL injury, redshirt freshman Mikayla Boykin made her 2018-19 season debut Thursday evening against UNLV and sparked the Blue Devils to a 66-38 win in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Boykin, who hails from Clinton, N.C., saw action in 20 minutes and filled the stat sheet with 11 points, six assists, a career-high five steals and four rebounds. She hit 4-of-8 field goals and 1-of-3 treys.
Following the game, redshirt senior Sofia Roma talked with Boykin about her return.
Duke will next host South Carolina Sunday, Dec. 9 at 2 p.m., live on ACC Network Extra.
