The Duke women's basketball team (4-0) returns to Cameron Indoor Stadium on Wednesday, Nov. 24, to open a three-game homestand by hosting Appalachian State (3-2) at 7 p.m.
The game will be carried live on ACC Network Extra along with the Blue Devil Sports Network via WDNC AM 620, the Varsity Network app and www.GoDuke.com with Chris Edwards (PXP) on the air beginning at 6:45 p.m. (ET).

A Look at Appalachian State...
Appalachian State enters the contest with a 3-2 record and is coming off an 81-49 victory over Winston-Salem State on Tuesday. Janay Sanders (13.6 points), Faith Alston (11.8 points) and Michaela Porter (10.2 points, 7.2 rebounds) have paced the Mountaineers on the year.
The Series with Appalachian State...
Appalachian State and Duke will face off for the 15th time in program history, with Duke leading the series, 10-4. The two teams haven't met since 1993.
In the last meeting, Duke won 79-66 on Dec. 8, 1993 in Boone, N.C. The Blue Devils are 6-1 in home games, 4-2 in away games, and 0-1 in games that are played at a neutral site.

Duke owns a 17-6 ledger against opponents in the Sun Belt Conference -- Appalachian State (10-4), Arkansas State (2-0), Georgia Southern (2-1), Georgia State (1-1), South Alabama (1-0), and Troy (1-0). The Blue Devils have won 14 consecutive contests against the Sun Belt Conference.

• Duke owns 64 consecutive wins versus non-conference teams from the state of North Carolina and 57 consecutive home wins. The Blue Devils have collected a 239-161 record against Division I teams from the State of North Carolina.
• Graduate student
Jade Williams scored all of her 14 points in the second half against Alabama, including the final two buckets to help push Duke past the Crimson Tide in the Maggie Dixon Classic.
• Duke's 7.5 blocks per game currently ranks second in the ACC.
• The Blue Devils feature eight different players that have drained at least one 3-pointer on the season, while five have hit four or more.
• This is the first time Duke is 4-0 to start a season since 2016-17. The last time the Blue Devils opened the year with a 5-0 mark was in 2014-15.

Kara Lawson since arriving, Duke has scored 70+ points in seven of the eight contests. The Blue Devils have won every game in which they have scored 70 points or more. The only loss was to Louisville 73-49 last season.

Taylor Bringing All-Around Game...
Junior
Celeste Taylor has been impressive in a Duke uniform, averaging 14.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 2.0 assists on the year.
Taylor is coming off collecting a season-high 21 points, while hitting a season-high three treys, against Alabama. It marked the seventh time over her career she has notched 20+ points.
She is the lone Blue Devil to register double-digit scoring in all four contests.
Taylor is one of only two players in the ACC averaging over 14.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 2.0 assists (Alyssa Ustby of UNC).

Miela Goodchild needs 12 three-pointers to move into a tie for 10th on Duke's career 3-pointers made list. She owns 130 over four seasons.

Jiselle Havas drained her first career shot attempt at Duke versus UNCW, which was a 3-pointer.
Gordon Drains 12 Treys in First Four Games...
Graduate transfer
Lexi Gordon has drained 12 three-pointers over the first four games to open the season, which ranks second in Duke history behind Tricia Liston (14 in 2013-14).
Gordon's 11 treys through three games matched Nicole Erickson for the most to open a season in Duke history. Erickson accomplished the mark in 1997-98.
The most 3-pointers made through five contests is 17 by Liston in 2013-14.
Blue Devils From Downtown...
Duke has drained 35 treys over the first four games, which is the most in school history. The most through the opening five games of a season was 36 in 2013-14.
The Blue Devils are averaging 8.75 three-pointers per game, which ranks third in the ACC.
