DURHAM, N.C. – The No. 8 Duke women's tennis team will host two ranked opponents this weekend as the Blue Devils welcome fifth-ranked Florida State and 30th-ranked Miami to Durham, N.C. Duke will host Florida State on Saturday, March 6 at 12 p.m., and then take on 30th-ranked Miami on Sunday, March 7 at 12 p.m. Both matches will be at either Ambler Tennis Stadium or Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center.
The two matches will feature live stats and video via www.GoDuke.com.
HOME WIN STREAK
The Blue Devils currently feature a 51-match home winning streak at Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center and Ambler Tennis Stadium. The 50-match win streak is currently the longest among Power Five Conference teams with the next closest being North Carolina (39).
THE SERIES WITH FLORIDA STATE
The Blue Devils (7-1) and Seminoles (9-1) will meet for the 42nd time in school history with Duke holding a 36-5 ledger in the series. Duke has won nine straight matches versus Florida State in Durham, N.C., dating back to April 7, 2007 and won 23 out of the last 24 matches against the Seminoles in the series. Overall, in matches played at Duke, the Blue Devils own a 14-1 mark.
THE SERIES WITH MIAMI
Duke and Miami (3-3) will clash for the 31st time in series history with the Blue Devils leading 18-12. The Hurricanes have won three straight meetings with the Blue Devils and limited Duke to only five dual match points over that stretch. In matches played in Durham, N.C., Duke holds a 6-3 record.
MOVING UP THE TEAM RANKINGS
Riding a five-match win streak, Duke moved up to No. 8 in the latest Oracle/ITA Division I Women's Rankings, which were released Wednesday. Over the last four seasons, Duke has been ranked in the top 10 in 44 of the last 48 ITA rankings.

Meible Chi currently features a 122-36 all-time singles mark and with her next victory will move into a tie for sixth on Duke's all-time wins list along with Megan Miller (123-36). She moved into a tie for seventh with a victory against Louisville last weekend.
DOUBLES ACTION
In doubles action, Beck and Berankova have paced the Blue Devils with a 9-1 overall record, including an eight-match win streak. Chen and Drummy also features an eight-match win streak and have collected a 9-2 mark on the year. Dating back to last season, Duke has won 12 straight doubles points in dual matches.
DUAL MATCH STREAKS
The Blue Devils are riding a five-match win streak and have won four consecutive contests by a 7-0 ledger with wins over Louisville, Virginia Tech, VCU and Appalachian State. Duke has won 28 consecutive dual match points, which is the longest streak since the Blue Devils won 40 in a row in the 2017-18 campaign.
WIN NO. 50
Bilokin collected her 50th singles win in a Blue Devil uniform this past weekend when she registered a 6-0, 6-4 straight set victory over Chelsea Sawyer of Louisville. With the win, Bilokin notched her sixth consecutive victory to improve to 10-2 on the season.
COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS
Due to the impact of COVID-19, Duke University will begin its spring sport program seasons without spectators at home events. Contests played on Duke's campus will include essential game management personnel and broadcast media. Traditional parking lots used by fans on game day will be closed.
