Chris Pollard holds a 9-15 record against Virginia while at Duke.
HSTORIC OPENING TO THE ACC BASEBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
Duke made program history in the 2021 ACC Baseball Championship as the Blue Devils advanced out of pool play for the second time since 2003. Duke also advanced in 2017 when the Championship was in Louisville. This year, Duke topped Florida State and Miami in pool play, recording its first wins over each opponent at the ACC Championship in program history. Duke's 12-1 win over Florida State was the first time the Blue Devils have ever beaten a Seminole team by 10+ runs.
