DURHAM, N.C. – No. 14 Duke returns home for a midweek tilt, hosting the Belmont Bruins Thursday Nov. 21 in Cameron Indoor Stadium. The action is set to tip off at 7 p.m., live on ACC Network.
THE OPENING TIP:
- Duke and Belmont will square off for just the second time all-time and first in seven seasons. The Blue Devils and Bruins lone matchup came in the 2018 NCAA Tournament with Duke posting a, 72-58, victory.
- The Blue Devils enter the week fresh off a hard-fought, 75-71, road win at South Dakota State Sunday (11.17).
- Jadyn Donovan notched her third career double-double with 23 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Blue Devil efforts. Ashlon Jackson contributed 18 points and Vanessa de Jesus finished with 13 points and three assists in the winning effort.
- Donovan also posted four assists and four steals, making her just the fifth Blue Devil all-time to net 20 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and four steals in a game. She joins an elite group that includes Alana Beard (2x), Haley Gorecki, Sheana Mosch and Traci Williams.
- Duke's offense has been on a tear to open the year with the Blue Devils putting up 82.2 points per game on 46-percent shooting. Duke's 82.2 average currently ranks No. 3 all-time on the team single-season charts and is the team's highest scoring average since 2013-14.
- Duke's balanced attack is led by the double-figure quartet of Ashlon Jackson (13.2), Toby Fournier (12.4), Reigan Richardson (11.4) and Jadyn Donovan (10.6).

- Sophomore Jadyn Donovan turned in a career performance with 23 points and 15 rebounds to lead the 16th-ranked Blue Devils to a 75-71 road victory at South Dakota State Sunday afternoon.
- Donovan registered her third career double-double to lead all Blue Devils while Ashlon Jackson contributed 18 points in the winning effort.
- Vanessa de Jesus finished with 13 points and three assists, hitting a crucial 6-of-8 from the free throw line.
- Donovan and Jackson also dished out four assists apiece to lead the Duke offense.
- Duke outscored South Dakota State, 24-15, in bench points and registered 21 points off 15 Jackrabbit turnovers.

- Finishing with 23 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assists and four steals, Donovan became just the fifth Duke player, and first since 2019, to post a statline of 20 points, 10 rebounds, four assist and four steals.
- She joins Alana Beard (2x), Haley Gorecki, Sheana Mosch and Traci Williams as the other Blue Devils to achieve the feat.
MISS WINDEX:
- Sophomore Jadyn Donovan has been a monster on the glass this season, corralling 46 boards through the first five games - No. 29 in the NCAA and third in the ACC (NCAA rankings as of 11.20).
- Donovan is averaging a near double-double on the year, leading the way on the glass with 9.2 caroms per while also putting up 10.6 points.
- She has snagged double-digit rebounds twice this season and finished with at least nine rebounds in four of the Blue Devils' first five.
- Donovan currently ranks 15th nationally and second in the conference with two double-doubles - both coming on the road.
- Most recently, she turned in the best performance of her young career with a collegiate-best 23 points while matching career highs in rebounds (15) and steals (4).
BENCH MOB:
- Duke has received a huge lift from its reserves this season, checking in at No. 12 nationally with 38.0 bench points per game (NCAA rankings as of 11.20).
- In the 84-49 victory over Dayton (11.4), the Blue Devils erupted for 58 points off the bench with four of the team's six double-figure scorers being reserves.
- Freshman Toby Fournier and sophomore Jordan Wood have led the charge thus far, with the duo combining to average 21.4 points and 8.8 boards per game.
- Fournier has notched double figures in four of the first five and ranks second on the Blue Devils in scoring (12.4) and rebounding (5.0).
- After seeing limited action in 2023-24, Wood (9.0 ppg, 3.8 rpg) has thrived in a larger role and been an impact player for the Blue Devils. She has put up 45 points in five games after totaling just 19 in 14 games last year.
- The Chicago, Ill., native has posted double figures in three of the first five games, most recently notching a career-high 17 points on 8-of-11 shooting, three rebounds and three steals against Dayton (11.14).
- Reigning ACC Sixth POTY Oluchi Okananwa (6.2 ppg, 4.4 rpg) picked up right where she left off and continues to inject a jolt of energy off the Duke bench, with Vanessa de Jesus (6.6 ppg, 2.8 apg) and Emma Koabel (2.8 ppg, 2.4 rpg) providing solid contributions as well.
- de Jesus has started to find her groove as of late with the graduate student averaging 11.5 points, 2.5 assists and 2.5 rebounds over her last two games.
- The Valencia, Calif., product tallied 10 points, three rebounds and two dimes against Dayton (11.14), following that with 13 points, three assists and two boards at South Dakota State (11.17).
WREAKING HAVOC:
- The Blue Devils have wreaked havoc defensively averaging 15.0 steals per game and forcing the opposition into 23.0 turnovers a night.

- As a team, Duke has totaled 75 thefts on the year. Six different Blue Devils own at least five steals with three players in double digits - Delaney Thomas (13), Jadyn Donovan (12), Oluchi Okananwa (12).
- Sophomore Delaney Thomas leads the charge averaging 2.6 steals per game, classmates Jadyn Donovan and Oluchi Okananwa next in line at 2.4.
- Junior Ashlon Jackson has posted nine steals on the year, graduate student Vanessa de Jesus and rookie Toby Fournier have each collected six thefts, with junior Taina Mair and sophomore Jordan Wood rounding out the group with five each.
