DURHAM – No. 6 Duke welcomes No. 10 Clemson for its second ACC series of the season and first at the friendly confines of Jack Coombs Field. Duke enters play with a 14-3 overall record, 2-1 in the ACC after defeating No. 1 Wake Forest last weekend at David F. Couch Ballpark in Winston-Salem, N.C. The Tigers have yet to open ACC play, posting a 15-1 record on the season.

- The Blue Devils continue to pounce on opponents like they did throughout the season in 2023. Duke has recorded 96 of its 170 runs from the fourth through eighth innings. That number accounts for 56.4% of the Blue Devils' run production.
- Duke hit two more home runs on Wednesday against Rider at Jack Coombs Field, bringing the season tally to 41. That mark is third in the country and tied for first in the ACC with Virginia Tech. Georgia currently leads the country with 51 home runs.
- Graduate Charlie Beilenson will pitch every day if he has to for the Blue Devils. A year removed from setting the program record in appearances with 39, Beilenson has appeared in seven games so far this season, tallying a save in each of those seven contests. He posts a 0.00 ERA in 14 innings of work, striking out 22 batters. Opponents are hitting .143 off the righty.
- Graduate Zac Morris took over the longest active hitting streak this weekend, pushing his mark to double digits. Morris as collected a knock in 12 consecutive games and has registered five multi-hit contests. He leads the team with five multi-RBI games and has tallied one four-RBI day.
- Head coach Chris Pollard now sits three wins away from tying Steve Traylor for second all-time for wins in a Duke uniform. Traylor (1988-99) won 356 games during his tenure in Durham. Pollard is also 28 wins away from tying legendary head coach Jack Coombs for first on the all-time Duke wins list with 381.
- Senior catcher Alex Stone climbed into a tie for sixth all-time on the career home run list for Duke, hitting his 31st in a Blue Devils' uniform on Wednesday. The home run moved him even with Griffin Conine (2016-18). The career home run record was set by Nate Freiman (2006-09) who crushed 43 home runs in a Duke uniform.
