Madison Beach are off to a strong start for the U-21 U.S. Women's National Team, helping sixth-ranked United States to a 5-2 victory over 13th-ranked New Zealand in the opening game of the 2025 FIH Hockey Women's Junior World Cup.
McVeigh and Beach both earned starting nods for the Junior Eagles with McVeigh scoring two of the team's first three goals to earn the Player of the Match honor. Scoring both of her goals in the run of play, McVeigh put the U.S., up 1-0 in the 17th minute with a low angle shot. She made it 3-0 in the 31st minute, beating the New Zealand goalie one-on-one after a pass from Reese D'Ariano.

Madison Beach continued to shine in game two for the United States. Once again, both Blue Devils earned starting nods and predictably McVeigh found the cage again in a 4-0 win over Korea to keep the U.S. unbeaten. The United States was relentless early on and grabbed the early lead in the 11th minute. After taking a 2-0 lead into halftime, McVeigh made it 3-0 late in the third quarter before Mia Abello finished off a penalty corner in the fourth quarter for the final 4-0 score.

Madison Beach helped the United States win its group with a 3-1 victory over Uruguay to wrap up pool play. Both McVeigh and Beach earned with third starts as the U.S. scored late in the first quarter to go up 1-0. After a scoreless second quarter, the red, white and blue extended its lead to 2-0 before Uruguay cut the lead to 2-1 six minutes later. Ella Beach seals the win for the Junior Eagles in the 51st minute.
Dani Mendez was the Player of the Match for the United States as they advance to the quarterfinals against No. 7 Belgium.

Madison Beach both earned the start in a tough match against a talented Belgium side. Falling behind early, the United States settled in, but couldn't get anything going offensively. Despite solid defense, the U.S. wasn't able to get on the scoreboard, heading into halftime down 1-0. The third quarter proved to be too much for the U.S. to overcome as Belgium scored twice in the first three minutes of the period to pull away en route to the 4-1 victory.
The loss sent the U.S. into a placement game against England.
Game 5 | No. 6 United States 2, No. 4 England 1 | Santiago, Chile | National Stadium Sports Park
The placement game for the fifth through eighth-place contests was a thriller as the sixth-ranked United States squad came away with a 2-1 victory over No. 4 England. The victory guaranteed the Junior Eagles their highest finish in the event. McVeigh earned the start while Beach came off the bench to help the U.S. to the win. Taking a lead midway through the second quarter with a goal from Olivia Bent-Cole, the United States played exceptional defense over the next 30 minutes to keep the England side off the board. England equalized on a penalty stroke goal in the 53rd minute. The red, white and blue answered right back on a counter-attack goal off a successfully defended penalty corner. McVeigh provided the final pass that led to Reese D'Ariano's winning finish.
