DURHAM, N.C. – Duke field hockey head coach
Pam Bustin and the Blue Devils are elated to take the field in 2026, unveiling another exciting but demanding schedule comprised of eight home dates at Williams Field at Jack Katz Stadium and seven games against 2025 NCAA Tournament teams.
AUGUST APPROACHING
The month of August rapidly approaches with the Blue Devils preparing for a pair of official contests during opening weekend. Duke hosts William & Mary in its home opener Aug. 28, before hitting the road for an Aug. 30 matchup at Richmond. Prior to that, the Blue Devils will fine tune their play with scrimmages against Old Dominion (Aug. 15), Wake Forest (Aug. 18) and North Carolina (Aug. 21) before officially opening the 2026 slate.
SEPTEMBER BRINGS HOME COMFORTS
September begins with the ACC/B1G Challenge, hosted by Boston College, Sept. 4-6 in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. Duke opens the interconference multi-team event with a showdown against reigning and back-to-back NCAA Champion Northwestern (Sept. 4) and closes the weekend versus Maryland (Sept. 6).
The Blue Devils enjoy the comforts of home during the second half of September and close the month with four of five games at Williams Field at Jack Katz Stadium, starting with a three-game homestand. Duke welcomes James Madison (Sept. 11) and VCU (Sept. 13) for a weekend set before opening up ACC action Sept. 18 against Virginia. After a quick road trip to Winston-Salem for a contest at Wake Forest (Sept. 25), the Blue Devils return to the Bull City for a date with Boston College Sept. 27.
ROAD BLUES IN OCTOBER
Duke's October schedule features seven games on the docket, including four road contests and five ACC tilts. Following home games versus Syracuse (Oct. 2) and Saint Joseph's (Oct. 4) to jumpstart the month, the Blue Devils will be California dreaming as they head to the West Coast for ACC matchups at Stanford (Oct. 9) and California (Oct. 11). The next two contests take place during single-game weekends as Duke heads to Louisville (Oct. 17) and Liberty (Oct. 25). The Blue Devils return home for the first time since Oct. 4 to conclude the regular season, hosting North Carolina Oct. 30 in a rivalry matchup.

The 2026 ACC Tournament, hosted by North Carolina, will take place Nov. 3-6 in Chapel Hill. NCAA Championship action commences Nov. 13 with first-round games, with the NCAA Championship semifinals and finals taking place Nov. 20-22 in Louisville, Kentucky.
