- After leading the program to its first three Super Regional appearances and a record six NCAA Tournament appearances, head coach Chris Pollard added another tally to his career mark this past weekend, passing Jack Coombs with 382 wins as the winningest coach in program history.
- For the first time in 2025, Duke hits the road, traveling to Buies Creek for a midweek matchup against Campbell. The road midweek contest on Tuesday will mark the first of two non-conference road trips for the Blue Devils, as the other is Liberty on May 13. Duke only has 17 road games scheduled this season, with three being down the street at North Carolina at the beginning of April.
- The 2025 Duke squad is steadier at the plate, drawing 64 walks through the first seven games of the season. That mark is fourth in the country, trailing VMI (77), Alabama (70), Tennessee (69), and tied with Georgia (64). The 64 walks are also the most in the ACC.
- The Harvard boys have been cooking in the Duke lineup this season, as Jake Berger led the team this week at the plate. Berger posted a 5-for-11 stretch (.455), collecting five runs, one double, two home runs, and six RBI. The Harvard transfer added seven walks to one strikeout and produced a slugging percentage of 1.091. Fellow Harvard transfer Ben Rounds posted a 6-for-14 (.429) tally, scoring six runs, two doubles, and four RBI. He added five walks and was second on the team during the 3-1 week with a .579 on-base percentage.
- Two-out lightning has returned for the Blue Devils this season especially as of late, as Duke has produced 24 two-out RBI. The 24 runs account for 37.5% of the Blue Devils' run production this season. Graduate transfer Jake Berger leads the team through seven games, producing four two-out RBI, followed by AJ Gracia with three.
- The long ball returns this season as the Blue Devils have now homered in seven consecutive games to start the season. Sophomore Kyle Johnson launched his first collegiate grand slam on Sunday, pushing the scoreline to 13-0, as Duke went on to win 18-1. The team has now tallied 15 home runs on the season, a mark that sits sixth in the country and second in the ACC behind Wake Forest (16). The home run production has been spread evenly throughout the lineup, as nine separate players have left the yard, with Johnson and Ben Miller leading the way at three apiece.
