QUOTES
- "Well, the biggest thing in the match -- it's kind of different. Irina not losing that match at one singles. She loses a quick first set, but finds a way to stay in there, finds a way to battle and compete. I told her after the match, I don't think you realize in a dual match setting how big that is.Your teammates see that fight, you see that fight, the other team sees that fight and it doesn't even up the match quickly after the doubles. So, I thought she did a good job of staying in there, competing after playing honestly an awful first set. That was huge for our team and huge lift for our team.We keep relying on different people, which is good.We are not relying on the same people to win matches every time.Obviously, we need everybody to come out and play their best and win matches. But I just think it shows what kind of team we are.We have a lot of players in our lineup that are winning matches."--Duke head coach Jamie Ashworth
- "We haven't played a lot of back-to-back matches. Last weekend was the second time all year we've played back-to-back matches. We did it last week and we got caught in a couple of long matches. It's just good to get out [off the court]. Obviously, we have a tough match tomorrow against Miami and they're going to compete and fight. So, if we can recover and be rested that's definitely a bonus for us." --Duke head coach Jamie Ashworth
