Hem has been an offensive threat for the Blue Devils this season. She was named to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List, an award that annually honors the top male and female college lacrosse players in the United States, earlier this season. She also earned ACC Co-Offensive Player of the Week April 8 after scoring five goals against Brown and six goals against Pittsburgh.
Hem has netted a team-best 47 goals paired with five assists to give her 52 points on the year. She has surpassed 200 career points and 150 goals this season, reaching the 200-point milestone by scoring four goals against Virginia. She passed 150 career goals with her first goal against Xavier.
Nationally, Hem's 183 career goals rank No. 12 among active career leaders across Division I women's lacrosse and her 222 career points poll at No. 24. In ACC rankings, she stands at No. 7, averaging 2.94 goals per game. Hem has recorded three or more goals in 10 games this season, the most recent being a hat trick at Louisville.
Bernstein, who was named to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List, has been dangerous in front of the cage, but also as a feeder for Duke's offense this season. Bernstein has scored 37 goals and recorded 27 assists for a team-high 64 points. Defensively, she has forced five turnovers and grabbed 14 ground balls. She had one of the best games of her career this season, scoring a career-high six goals paired with two assists for a career and game-high eight points against Louisville. Earlier this year, Bernstein surpassed both 50 career goals and 50 career assists, a mark only 18 other Blue Devils have accomplished in program history.
Bernstein has earned three or more points 13 times this season. Nationally, she ranks No. 37 among active career leaders in Division I women's lacrosse with 71 career assists and No. 7 in the ACC, averaging 1.69 assists per game.
Nease has been dominant in the circle for the Blue Devils this season, posting a team-best 98 draw controls. Along with her draw controls, she has slotted in five goals, dished out two assists for seven points on the year. Defensively, she has snatched 15 ground balls and forced nine turnovers.
Nease's 98 draw controls this season currently ranks seventh in the program's single-season records and her 212 career draws poll at fourth in Duke's program career records.
Barrett has found the back of the cage 10 times this season, paired with five assists to give her 15 points. Along with her offensive efforts, she has earned 29 draw controls, forced 10 turnovers and grabbed 11 ground balls. Barrett earned a career-high six draw controls against Notre Dame and matched her career-high two caused turnovers in the Elon and East Carolina games.
Goodwin has been an offensive leader for the Blue Devils this season, scoring 45 goals paired with 13 assists for 58 points. On the other end of the field, she has picked up 12 ground balls, earned five draw controls and forced two turnovers. She netted a career-high six goals in the win over Brown and has notched three or more goals in nine games this year. She ranks No. 9 in the ACC in goals per game (2.81).
Pronti has been the team's most dodgy distributor this season, dishing a team-best 36 assists. Along with her dimes, she has netted 10 goals to give her 46 points on the year. She set a Duke single-game record with seven assists at Virginia. She also registered five assists against Clemson, four at Pittsburgh and three in the win over Notre Dame. Pronti ranks fifth in the ACC, averaging 2.25 assists per game this season.
The Blue Devils enter the ACC Championship quarterfinals as the fourth seed and are set to take on fifth-seeded Clemson in Charlotte, N.C., Wednesday, April 23, at 2 p.m. inside American Legion Memorial Stadium. The game will be televised on ACC Network.
