Julia Boehringer had a thrilling summer of action with the German U21 National Team. The native of Munich, Germany most recently competed with the team in a four nations tournament and in another international friendly.
Boehringer returns for her second season as a Blue Devil following a strong rookie campaign. Playing in all 20 games at forward, Boehringer scored one goal and provided an assist.
In the recent four nations tournament, Boehringer and the German U21 squad took on Spain, India and Australia. Germany found success, playing three hard-fought games, including a narrow 2-1 loss to Australia in the final.

Germany capped the summer with a friendly competition against South Korea in preparation for the U21 World Cup December 1-13 in Santiago, Chile. The German squad finished sixth in the 2023 Junior World Cup.
The Blue Devils return to campus for the upcoming 2025 season Aug. 7 with preseason training getting underway Aug. 8. Duke will host a pair of scrimmages against Davidson (Aug. 12) and Richmond (Aug. 16) before traveling to Wake Forest for a final warm-up Aug. 23.
The 2025 campaign officially gets underway Aug. 29 against Liberty. First hit is set for 4 p.m., at Williams Field at Jack Katz Stadium
