DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke women's tennis team will resume fall action this weekend as the Blue Devils compete in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-American at the Cary Tennis Park in Cary Sept. 20-28.
Opening action in pre-qualifying will be freshman
Claire An, sophomore
Ava Krug and senior
Katie Codd in singles, while the duo of Krug and junior
Eleana Yu will team together in doubles action.
An kicks off action against Maxine Murphy of Washington State on Saturday at 11 a.m., while Codd faces Heike Janse Van Vuuren of Kansas at 1:30 p.m. Krug goes up against Trinetra Vijayakumar of Vanderbilt at 9 a.m., as well.
In doubles play, Krug and Yu takes on Indiana's Alessandra Teodosescu and Nicole Teodosescu at 3:30 p.m., Saturday.
Pre-qualifying action will take place Sept. 20-21 followed by qualifying Sept. 22-23. The main draw will kick off Sept. 25 and will run through Sept. 28.
Duke is expected to have Yu, sophomore
Liv Hovde, junior
Shavit Kimchi and sophomore
Irina Balus in the main draw.
