Duke aims to keep an unblemished ACC record Sunday when the Blue Devils host Wake Forest for a 12 p.m., tipoff on ACC Network. The Blue Devils, winners of 12 straight, are 15-6 overall and 10-0 in league action with their last loss coming Dec. 4 against LSU. The 10-0 start in ACC play is Duke's best under head coach Kara Lawson.
The last time a Duke team won more than 10 conference games to start was in 2012-13 - going 15-0 en route to a 17-1 conference record. The 12-game win streak is the longest under head coach Kara Lawson and the longest since the 2012-13 team started 16-0.
Duke's six losses are against the current NET No. 5 LSU, No. 2 UCLA, No. 4 South Carolina, No. 24 West Virginia, No. 27 Baylor and No. 84 South Florida. The Blue Devils are led on offense by sophomore Toby Fournier's 17.9 points per game. Taina Mair is having a career year, averaging 11.7 points, 5.3 assists and 5.2 rebounds per game. Ashlon Jackson is playing both ends of the court at an elite level, dropping 12.0 points per game, a team-best 44 three-pointers and 4.6 assists per game, while drawing the toughest perimeter defensive matchup for Duke's elite defense. Fournier, Arianna Roberson and Delaney Thomas lead the charge on the glass, averaging 7.7, 5.8 and 5.7 rebounds per game, respectively. Thomas also contributes 10.7 points per game on a team-high 63 percent shooting, while Roberson adds 8.5 points and 1.1 blocks per game. Fournier is the top rim protector, averaging 2.2 blocks per game.Â
Duke and Wake Forest meet for the 91st time with the Blue Devils dominating the series with a 72-18 record. The Blue Devils are 33-7 all-time against the Demon Deacons in Durham, last losing to the Deacs inside Cameron Indoor Stadium in 2020. Lawson's teams have a 15.8 point average margin of victory against Wake Forest.
Last Time Out Notes
Toby Fournier collected her fifth double-double of the year, scoring 23 points and pulling down 11 rebounds against the Hurricanes. It was her seventh game with at least 20 points this season.
Duke outscored Miami 19-8 in the fourth quarter and held the Hurricanes to single digits in two periods - the 14th time this season and the seventh time in the past three games.
Duke held Miami to 1-of-11 shooting from distance after the Hurricanes entered the contest averaging 5.9 makes and 20 attempts per game.
Duke Feeling the 20 Pieces
Duke has scored at least 20 points in 19 of its 40 quarters in ACC play. The Blue Devils notched 20-plus points in 23 of the 72 ACC quarters last season.
In the previous four complete seasons under head coach Kara Lawson, Duke compiled just a combined 69 quarters with at least 20 points - 23 (2024-25), 18 (2023-24), 15 (2022-23) and 13 (2021-22).
 Fantastic Finishers
The Blue Devils have been strong finishers during this 12-game win streak, outscoring opponents 263-171 in the fourth quarter. In the 10 ACC contests, Duke holds a 219-144 edge in fourth-quarter scoring.
Duke has outscored each of its 12 opponents in the final frame during the win streak and holds nearly a +8 point margin in the final 10 minutes in that stretch.
 Inside the ACC
Duke and Louisville are the lone teams to remain unbeaten in league play. Those two teams meet Feb. 5. The Blue Devils have been firing on both ends of the court and are the only team to rank in the top five of the major statistics in conference play.
Duke's offense has been steady in conference play, ranking  first in scoring margin (23.6), second in three-point percentage (.378) and assists (19.20), tied for second in field goal percentage (.471) and third in scoring offense (79.5).
Individually, Toby Fournier ranks third in league scoring average at 19.0 points per game. Ashlon Jackson (5.4) and Taina Mair (5.1) are third and fourth in assists, respectively.
Defensively, Duke is one of the best in the ACC. The Blue Devils lead the league in scoring defense (55.9), opponent three-point percentage (.233) and turnover margin (4.10), sit second in opponent field goal percentage (.368), third in opponent rebounding (33.0) and blocks (5.60) and fourth in overall rebounding (41.3).
Jackson Approaching 50 ACC Wins
With a win Sunday, senior Ashlon Jackson will notch her 50th ACC win as a Blue Devil. In her four seasons at Duke, the Blue Devils are 49-15, tied for the best record of any ACC program spanning 2022-2026. Notre Dame also is 49-15 in that span. Jackson is 88-38 overall in her career at Duke.
The 50 wins over the course of four seasons are the most since Duke posted 55 from 2011-12-2014-15.
