DURHAM, N.C. – No. 20 Duke softball gears up for another weekend on the road as they travel to Cathedral City, California to compete in the annual Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic Feb. 19-22.
The Blue Devils are set to compete in five games over four days, taking on three 2025 Women's College World Series participants in No. 5 Oklahoma, No. 9 UCLA and No. 18 Oregon, as well as No. 11 Texas A&M and Hawaii.
Duke brings an 8-3 record into the contest after finishing 3-2 at the Shriners Children's Clearwater Invitational last weekend. The Blue Devils picked up a pair of top-15 wins after defeating No. 8 Texas A&M, 8-6, and No. 12 LSU, 5-3, in back-to-back games Friday. The Blue Devils also topped Oklahoma State in a 9-6 thriller before falling to No. 20 Georgia and Missouri to conclude action on the weekend. Duke also earned a 13-1 run-rule victory over Elon Tuesday night at Hunt Softball Park.
Senior
Aminah Vega was named ACC Player of the Week Monday after leading the Blue Devil offense in Clearwater. She hit 11-for-17 (.647) on the weekend with four RBI and nine runs scored. She was also named to the
D1Softball All-Tournament team for her efforts in the five-game invitational.

TEXAS A&M
Thursday's matchup will mark the second all-time meeting and second of the season. Duke and Texas A&M first met at the Shriners Children's Clearwater Invitational last weekend with the Blue Devils defeating the Aggies, 8-6.
HAWAII
Duke and Hawaii also meet for the first time in Friday's nightcap. Hawaii (5-4) is coming off a 1-3 weekend at the CBU Classic in Riverside, California. The Rainbow Wahine split a pair of games with Utah State, before falling to LMU and host California Baptist.
OKLAHOMA
The Blue Devils and Sooners are set to clash for the fourth time in program lore Friday afternoon. Duke and Oklahoma last met in the opening game of the 2024 Women's College World Series, where the Sooners claimed a 9-1 run-rule victory.
UCLA
UCLA leads the all-time series, 2-1, after first meeting in the 2022 NCAA Super Regionals in Los Angeles, Calif. Duke picked up its lone win over the Bruins last season, earning a 1-0 victory to cap off a 5-0 weekend at the Mary Nutter.
OREGON
Duke and Oregon are set to meet for the first time in program history on Saturday. The Ducks (5-4) finished 4-1 last weekend at the Cardinal Classic, picking up wins over Cal State Fullerton and Kentucky while falling to host Stanford in Santa Clara, Calif.
UP NEXT
The Blue Devils return to Durham for the home opener against East Carolina on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at Smith Family Stadium. First pitch is set for 5 p.m.
