DURHAM, N.C. - The next segment of the season begins this weekend for the Duke men's tennis team as it kicks off ACC action by welcoming No. 48 California and No. 12 Stanford to the Ambler Tennis Stadium. Sunday's match will feature ACC CrossCourt Cast coverage on ACC Network Extra.

Following its win against Campbell to open the outdoor season, Duke (5-5) moved up to No. 50 in this week's ITA rankings.Â

HOME COURT ADVANTAGE
Duke played to a 12-1 home record in the 2025 dual match season and is off to a 4-0 start at home in 2026. The Blue Devils' lone home loss last spring was a 4-3 setback to No. 37 Florida State on March 28.Â
Since the start of the 2023 dual match season, Duke is a 42-5 in home competition (.894 winning percentage).Â

ACC OPENERS
Duke heads into Friday's match having won three consecutive and five of its last six ACC openers. The Blue Devils' last ACC opening loss was a 4-0 setback to No. 18 Virginia in 2022. The Blue Devils have never opened the league campaign against California.

RODENAS RECORD WATCH
Rodenas heads into his final ACC campaign with a chance to rocket up the Duke career record charts for league competition. Overall, the Madrid, Spain, native owns 89 career wins, just 11 shy of becoming the 17th member of Duke's 100-win club.Â

In ACC play, Rodenas has taken part in 31 singles matches, nine shy of cracking the Duke top-12 chart. He owns 25 ACC singles victories, just three short of a tie for ninth most in program history. Â
Fred Saba (2011-14) owns the Blue Devil record with 35 ACC singles wins.

In doubles, Rodenas has played 27Â ACC matches, seven shy of the top-10 list while his 22Â league doubles wins are two short of the Duke top-10 chart.Â
Henrique Cunha (2010-13) tops the Duke ACC doubles wins ledger with 35.

HISTORY WITH CALIFORNIAÂ Â
The Golden Bears lead the series with the Blue Devils, 8-2. The two faced each other as ACC foes for the first time last spring in Berkeley with California claiming a 4-3 triumph. Duke has not beaten the Golden Bears since a 6-1 victory in Durham on March 11, 2012. Â

SCOUTING GOLDEN BEARS
California boasts a 7-5 record. The Golden Bears feature one ranked individual in No. 125 Tiago Silva. In doubles, Cal has two ranked pairs with No. 22 Timofey Stepanov and Silva and No. 78 Bernardo Munk Mesa and Paris Pouatcha.Â

Silva (3-3) and Fryderyk Lechno-Wasiutynski (2-2) have split time on court one with Lechno-Wasiutynski also owning a 4-0 record in the second slot. Silva and Stepanov have played all but one match on court one and posted a 7-3 doubles mark. Lechno-Wasiutynski and Andrea Meduri are 5-2 on court two.Â

HISTORY WITH STANFORD
Sunday will mark the 12th meeting with the Cardinal leading the series 9-2. Stanford booked a pair of wins versus the Blue Devils last spring with a 4-0 regular season triumph and a 4-2 victory in the ACC Championship. Duke's last win was a 4-1 triumph on May 9, 2015, during the NCAA Regional in Durham. Â

SCOUTING THEÂ CARDINAL
Stanford heads to the East Coast with a 7-3 record. No. 48 Hudson Rivera leads the ranked individuals with Alex Chang checking in at No. 92. Rivera is 0-1 on court one, 1-1 on court two and 3-0 on court three. Chang owns a 2-0 record in the top position while going 2-1 on two and 1-1 on three.Â

Stanford brings three ranked doubles teams into the match. Chang and Alexander Razeghi are at No. 8 and own a 3-0 mark in dual matches. Rivera and Mark Krupkin check in No. 36 while Rivera and Nicholas Godsick are at No. 50. Krupkin and Rivera are 2-0 in dual competition with both wins on court three.Â

The Blue Devils travel to SMU on Friday, March 6 for a 5 p.m. match before heading to Boston College for a Sunday, March 8 tilt at 12 p.m.
