DURHAM, N.C.—With the 2026 WNBA season on the horizon, a trio of former Blue Devils have signed WNBA training camp rosters.
Reigan Richardson, Miela Sowah (Goodchild) and
Elizabeth Balogun each garnered invites from WNBA teams.
Richardson heads to the Minnesota Lynx, while Sowah garnered an invite from the Golden State Valkyries and Balogun joins the Toronto Tempo.
Richardson played this past season in Spain for Gran Canaria in Spanish LF Endesa. She rejoins Minnesota after attending training camp with the team last season. Most recently, with Spar Gran Canaria in the Spanish LF Endesa, Richardson averaged 14.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.4 steals per game. The Charlotte, North Carolina native helped lead Duke to the 2025 ACC Tournament title and to the Elite Eight. Over the course of her collegiate career at Georgia (2021–22) and
Duke (2022–25), Richardson totaled 1,174 points, 306 rebounds and 211 assists, while shooting 40.7% from the field and 76.7% from the free-throw line.
Balogun adds international experience to the Tempo, having competed professionally overseas and as a member of the Nigerian Women's National Team. She played two seasons with the Blue Devils, averaging 9.3 points and 4.8 rebounds per game. Balogun started 51 of her 63 games at Duke.
A two-time WNBL Champion, Sowah recently led the Townsville Fire to the 2026 WNBL title. The 5-10 guard averaged 17.8 points, 2.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 43.6 percent from the floor and 40.9 percent from beyond the arc for the Fire in 2025. Sowah played four seasons at Duke where she was named to the All-ACC Freshman Team in 2019.
