2015-16: NCAA qualifier for the second-straight season, garnering honorable mention All-America honors as a member of Duke’s 200 medley relay … The group became the first relay in program history to garner All-America honors with a sixth-place showing in the NCAA consolation final and a 14th-place finish overall … Relay took fourth at the ACC Championship while breaking its own school record with a time of 1:25.00 … That mark surpassed the NCAA automatic standard in the event … Also competed on Duke’s 200 freestyle and 400 medley relays at ACCs … Took 15th in the conference in the 100 butterfly and 20th in the 50 freestyle … 50 freestyle finals clocking of 20.18 ranked him sixth on the Blue Devils’ all-time performance list … Fourth in the 100 butterfly at the Nike Cup Invitational … Won the same event against Florida State and Queens (10/23) … Helped the 200 medley relay take first-place finishes against Pitt, Florida State and Queens, Old Dominion and William & Mary and South Carolina, as well as at the Nike Cup Invitational … Team captain.
2014-15: Member of Blue Devils’ 200 medley relay that was the first to garner automatic NCAA qualification since the ‘A’ and ‘B’ standards were implemented … Group’s school record breaking time of 1:25.03 at the ACC Championship placed the Blue Devils second for a podium finish … The relay went on to compete at the NCAA Championship, advancing to the consolation final before being disqualified … During the regular season, helped guide the 200 medley relay to three first-place finishes, including a facility record-breaking performance at home against Harvard and South Carolina (1/10) … Group broke North Carolina’s Koury Natatorium facility record at the Carolina College Invitational with a 1:26.49 swim (2/7) … Duke’s top performer in the 100 butterfly, placing 21st at the ACC meet at 47.74 for the third-fastest mark in school history … Won the 100 butterfly against UNC Wilmington (10/25) and William & Mary (11/7) during the regular season … Also competed on the Blue Devils’ 200 and 400 freestyle and 400 medley relays at ACCs … 400 medley relay posted a time of 3:11.71 for a school record.
