This is the first time I've gone on Duke's site since I heard and I think it's wonderful what they have done. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and I hope to see you soon. Take care of yourself...a speedy recovery...your
friends love you!!

As a Duke graduate and Duke b-ball fan, I was dismayed to
hear of your hospitalization. Having suffered a traumatic foot injury on
April 2 (and rushing back from the hospital to catch the last half of
the championship men's game), I know how difficult the doctor/hospital
routine is. I look forward to seeing you on the bench again soon. Best
wishes for a speedy recovery.

Joanne, You are in my prayers. I had a stroke last Feb.14th and know what you are going through. You will need to be patient with yourself and know that God has you in His care. Mine was on the left side of my brain and I woke up that morning with no feeling on my right side. It's frightening, but you will be fine!! I'm mailing you the rosary my girl friend brought to me on the morning of my stroke. I held it close, and know it will serve you just as it did for me. The Blessed Mother is watching out for us. Look for it in the mail. Have a Merry Christmas. Love, Suzanne

Joanne,
Although I haven't seen you since I kept the stats for the women's team while you were a player, I have followed you and the team over the past few years.
Glad to hear you are doing so well, I guess you can chalk up another one in the win column.
Best wishes,
