No. 10 Duke Completes Day Two Of Action At Michigan Invitational

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The 10th-ranked Duke women's tennis team took four of four doubles matches and three of seven singles matches on day two of the Michigan Invitational on Saturday.
The Blue Devils squared off against No. 58 Denver in doubles to start out the day, as Duke won at all four positions. Behind today's victories from the fourth-ranked duo of Daniela Bercek and Elizabeth Plotkin, No. 29 Melissa Mang and Jessi Robinson, Tory Zawacki and Parker Goyer, and Amanda Granson and Kristin Cargill, Duke has lost just one doubles match in two days of action in Ann Arbor.
Singles action followed doubles play, this time versus No. 29 Michigan, as three Blue Devils came away victorious. Granson defeated Elizabeth Exon, 6-4, 7-6(8), while Cargill was a 6-2, 6-4 winner over Allie Shafner, and Goyer posted a win over Tanvi Dudhela (6-3, 6-3).
On Sunday, the final day of the Michigan Invitational, No. 10 Duke will meet No. 29 Michigan in doubles at 9 a.m., to be followed immediately by Duke versus No. 52 LSU singles.
