With The Duke Victory:
- Improved to 11-2 overall.
- Moved the series record to 5-0 against Temple.
- Improved to 25-9 overall against teams from the A-10, including winning its 12th in a row.
- Moved to 3-2 on the road this season.
- Coach P improved to 4-0 all-time against Temple and 15-6 against A-10 teams.
Junior Jasmine Thomas
- Registered seven straight points in the second half to give Duke a 49-48 lead.
- Finished with 15 points, four steals and three assists.
- Notched double-figure scoring for the 11th time this season and the 11th time out of the last 12 games.
Senior Bridgette Mitchell
- Needed nine points to reach 500 points in her career today. She now owns 504.
- Netted 13 points, four rebounds and hit 6-of-6 free throws.
- Posted double-digit scoring for the fifth time this season and 13th time in her career.
Senior Joy Cheek
- Broke a three-game streak of scoring double-figures as she finished with two points
Junior Karima Christmas
- Registered her second career double-double and first of the season with 23 points and 14 rebounds.
- Had a career-high 14 rebounds and career-high 23 points in 36 minutes.
- Matched a career high with three three-point field goals made.
- Tied a career high with eight free throws made and had a career-high 11 free throws attempted.
- Notched double-figure scoring in her third straight game and the sixth time out of the last seven games.
Sophomore Chelsea Hopkins
- Notched a season-high five points in the first half as she scored two baskets in the final 2:09 of the first half.
- Hit her first three-pointer of the season and the second of her career in the first half.
Other Duke Notes:
- Outrebounded Temple, 40-27.
- Forced 25 Temple turnovers.
- Held to 33.9 percent shooting after hitting over 50.0 percent from the field in two straight games.
- Will next host Providence on Sunday, Jan. 3 at 1:00 p.m., in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
