- Improved to 24-3 overall and 10-2 in ACC action.
- Won its 20th straight game in Cameron Indoor Stadium against ACC opponents.
- Won its 22nd consecutive overall game in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
- Posted its 15th straight win against Virginia Tech.
- Moved the series record to 17-2 in favor of Duke against Virginia Tech.
Senior Jasmine Thomas
- Totaled four steals, two assists and two rebounds to go along with 27 points.
- Hit a career-high five three-pointers on five attempts.
- With her four steals, moved into third place on Duke's all-time steals list with 272 passing Iciss Tillis (270).
- Her 27 points was a season high.
- Scored 27 points marking the fourth time this season and 17th time in her career with 20+ points.
- Started her 86th straight game.
Freshman Chelsea Gray
- Left the game in the first half with a left ankle sprain and did not return.
- Had scored all four of Duke's points prior to the injury.
Sophomore Allison Vernerey
- Snapped a four-game streak of scoring double-figures as she finished with three points.
- Started her fourth straight game of the season and ninth of her career.
Senior Krystal Thomas
- Pulled down a career-high 17 rebounds.
- Notched eight points on 3-of-6 field goals.
Senior Karima Christmas
- Scored double-figures (12) for the second time out of the last three games.
- Hit a three-pointer for the second straight game, after not hitting a trey in 12 straight games.
Freshman Tricia Liston
- Posted a career-high six steals and career-high 19 points in 22 minutes.
- Had four assists and four rebounds and hit 7-of-10 from the field.
- Notched double-figure scoring for the first time since Jan. 26 versus Clemson.
- Hit 3-of-5 from three-point land breaking a six-game slump without hitting a three-pointer.
- Matched a career high with three three-pointers.
Other Duke Notes
- The 50-point loss for Virginia Tech was the worst ACC loss in school history.
- Hit 50.0 percent from the field in the second half.
- Held a 36-13 advantage in bench points.
- The nine three-pointers made were tied for the second-most against an ACC opponent this year.
- Hit 19-of-24 free throws in the game.
- Forced 32 turnovers marking the fifth time this year an opponent has committed 30+ turnovers.
- Notched 19 steals in the game.
- Held a 32-7 advantage in points off turnovers.
- Held a, 49-24, advantage on the boards.
- Duke's 45 points was the most allowed by Virginia Tech in the first half this season.
- Went on a 22-0 run in the first half, which is the second-largest run of the season (24 is the highest).
