Weekend Details
- Duke closes out its regular season home schedule with No. 6 Wake Forest and Old Dominion this weekend. Both matches will be streamed on ACCNX.
- Friday's game will be Duke's Morgan's Message game as the Blue Devils urge everyone to join them Taking a Shot at Mental Health ®. Morgan's Message was founded in honor of former Duke women's lacrosse player Morgan Rodgers and has grown into a national program that has 5,298 ambassadors on 1,655 high school & collegiate campuses
- Sunday, the Blue Devils will honor the seniors and graduates with a postgame recognition with family and friends.

The Opening Pass-Back
- Duke returns home for the final time during the regular season, hosting No. 6 Wake Forest and Old Dominion. Both games will be streamed on ACCNX as Duke plays in another top-10 matchup.
- Duke heads into the weekend ranked eighth in the NFHCA top 20 poll and eighth in the latest edition of the RPI. Wake Forest is No. 7 in the RPI and sits in first place in the ACC at 6-0. The Demon Deacons will look to secure the ACC regular season crown Friday.
- Duke is coming off two solid road wins, beating Boston College, 3-1 and UConn, 1-0. The Blue Devils continue to shine on defense while using a balanced scoring attack to come away with victories.
- Senior Alaina McVeigh and sophomore Julia Boehringer lead the offensive charge with 23 and 18 points, respectively. McVeigh and Boehringer have eight and seven goals, respectively. Both are dangerous options on penalty corners as well as in open play.
- The Blue Devils have not allowed more than a goal to a team since giving up four in the season opener. Duke has six shutouts in that span.

With Four Games Remaining in Regular Season
- Duke is 10-4 overall with all four losses coming against current top 10 teams – No. 2 Northwestern (0-1), No. 3 Virginia (0-1, 2OT) No. 9 Syracuse (0-1) and No. 7 Liberty (3-4). The Blue Devils are 4-2 in conference action.
- Defensively, Duke has been outstanding, allowing just 11 goals all season and only seven in the past 12 outings. The Blue Devils are tied for seventh nationally with six clean sheets, while their 0.77 goals against average is fifth. Â
- Alaina McVeigh paces the offense with eight goals and seven assists for 23 points. Right behind her is sophomore Julia Boehringer, who is having a breakout season, with seven goals and four assists for 18 points. She is highly effective on penalty corners. Sophomore Madison Beach has been excellent on set pieces and in open play with a team-best eight assists.

Blue Devils vs DEMON DEACONS
- Duke and Wake Forest meet for the 87th time Friday. The Blue Devils are 48-38 against the Demon Deacons and have won four straight. Friday's matchup between the No. 8 Blue Devils and No. 6 Wake Forest is the first top-10 meeting between the two programs since 2014 - a 2-1 win for No. 4 Duke over No. 1 Wake Forest.
- Duke has allowed just one goal in the past four meetings with Wake Forest, outscoring the Demon Deacons 11-1.

Blue Devils vs Monarchs
- Duke and Old Dominion are playing for the 48th time since the first meeting in 1980. The Blue Devils have won 10 straight against the Monarchs, including a 2-0 win in Norfolk, Virginia, last season. Old Dominion's last win came in 2012 - a 3-1 win in Durham.

What Gives?
- When Duke and Wake Forest meet Friday it will be a battle of the one of the nation's top defensive teams in the Blue Devils and one of the best offensive teams in the Demon Deacons.
- Wake Forest ranks fourth nationally in scoring offense with 3.80 goals per game. Duke is fifth nationally in scoring defense with a 0.77 goals against average. Duke has six shutouts and the Demon Deacons have not been shut out yet this season.

McVeigh and Beach Headed to Chile
- Alaina McVeigh and Madison Beach recently were named to the U.S. U-21 Women's National Team for the upcoming 2025 FIH Hockey Women's Junior World Cup (JWC). McVeigh and Beach will represent the Blue Devils on the U.S. squad for the JWC set to take place December 1-13 at the National Stadium Sports Park in Santiago, Chile. Joining Madison Beach will be her sister, Ella Beach.

Kaiya in the Cage     Â
- In her first season as the starter in goal, sophomore Kaiya Chepow looks right at home. She currently ranks second in the ACC and seventh nationally with a 0.83 goals against average. Since giving up four goals in her first career start, Chepow has allowed just seven goals in 13 contests for a 0.57 goals against average in that span.
- The 0.83 goals against average would rank third in Duke single season history. A Duke goalie has posted a GAA under 1.00 four times in program history.
