NEED TO KNOW
- The Duke women's soccer team is set to close the regular season Thursday, Oct. 30 as the 10th-ranked Blue Devils (11-3-1) host 25th-ranked Clemson for senior night on Freeman Field at Koskinen Stadium at 7 p.m.
- Thursday's match will be aired live on ACC Network Extra with Zach Berly (PXP) and Matt Stradley (Color) calling the action.
- On Thursday, it will also be Duke Center for Autism and Brain Development Awareness night. Members from the Duke Autism & Brain Development Center participate as anthem buddies and form a high five tunnel for the starting lineups. Duke is providing the Cohan Family Suite to serve as a cooldown area for the families to escape the loud noise if needed.Â
- Prior to the match, Duke will recognize seven seniors on the field -- Taylor Evans, Carina Lageyre, Devin Lynch, Elle Piper, Kat Rader, Julia Saunicheva and Farrah Walters.
- Duke ranks first nationally in assists with a 3.73 per game average and third in corner kicks per match (7.80).
- The Blue Devils' last 22 goals scored have come in the 41st minute or later dating back to the Virginia match.Â
- Duke remained in the top 10 of the United Soccer Coaches poll this week and have been in the top 10 in 10 of the 12 polls in 2025.
- Duke's duo of Kat Rader and Mia Minestrella were named to the Hermann Trophy Midseason Watch. They were two of 35 players selected for the prestigious award.
- First year head coach Kieran Hall has kicked off his career with the Blue Devils with a 11-3-1 ledger.

STORYLINES/OTHER BLUE DEVIL NOTES
- With her next assist, Mia Oliaro would register back-to-back seasons with 10 or more assists and would become just the second Blue Devil to accomplish it.
- Duke has won 19 out of its last 22 home contests.
- The Blue Devils have scored two or more goals in seven matches in a row and averaged 2.9 goals a contest during that stretch.
- Duke is averaging 3.22 goals and 22.7 shots a game in nine home contests in 2025.
- Kat Rader has scored or assisted in 12 of the 14 matches played this year. Only Rader, Izzy Engle (Notre Dame) and Jordynn Dudley (Florida State) have either scored or assisted in all but two matches this season in the ACC.
- Duke is 3-3 this season against ranked foes with Mia Minestrella totaling five goals and one assist for 11 points. Kat Rader has totaled two goals and four assists.
- The Blue Devils are currently No. 14 in the latest NCAA RPI with Duke's three losses coming against No. 1 (Notre Dame), No. 2 (Virginia) and No. 21 (Wake Forest).
- Mia Minestrella registered her 10th career goal against an ACC opponent versus NC State. She owns six goals in nine ACC matches in 2025.Â
- Kat Rader ranks fourth in the ACC in points per game (1.86), fifth in assists per game (.57) and seventh in assists (8). She is 14th nationally in points per game (1.86) and 13th in assists per game (.57). Mia Oliaro is eighth nationally and second in the ACC in assists per game (.60), while eighth nationally and second in the ACC in assists (9).
- Mia Minestrella and Kelly Walbert (1994-95) are the only Duke players in program history to score in three or more straight ACC games in back-to-back seasons. Walbert is a Duke Hall of Fame selection. These came 30 seasons apart.

THE SERIES WITH CLEMSON
- Duke and Clemson will meet for the 33rd time in program history when the Tigers come to town on Thursday.
- The Blue Devils are 16-14-2 all-time against Clemson, including a 9-6-0 record at home. Duke has won 10 of the last 15 matches with Clemson.
- The Blue Devils hold a 44-31 goal advantage over the Tigers all-time and a 28-14 advantage in matches played in Durham.
- The teams last faced each other on September 19, 2024, when Duke won 3-1 on the road. Devin Lynch scored the game-winning goal off an assist from Farrah Walters. Lynch and Carina Lageyre also recorded assists in the match.

SCOUTING CLEMSON
- The Tigers enter the match with a record of 7-4-5 after their 1-0 victory at Boston College on Friday. The team is 4-3-2 in ACC play.
- Clemson is 4-2-1 in road games this season. The Tigers hold a 8-9 goal disadvantage in matches away from home.
- Freshman forward Juju Harris leads Clemson in scoring with seven goals on the season. Harris is also tied for first in the ACC with five game-winning goals.
- The upcoming match will be Clemson's ninth against a ranked opponent this season. The Tigers are 1-3-4 against ranked foes and 6-1-1 against non-ranked opponents.
- Clemson is in its 15th season under head coach Eddie Radwanski. The Tigers are coming off a 6-8-3 season in 2024 that saw them go 2-7-1 in ACC play.

- Duke will go up against a familiar face Thursday as Baleigh Bruster is a 2025 Blue Devil graduate and played four seasons from 2021-24. She was limited due to injuries and played 37 matches, while starting 18.

A WIN WOULD...
- Improve Duke to 12-3-1 overall and 7-3-0 in the ACC.
- Give Duke the No. 3 seed in the ACC Championship and would host a quarterfinal match Sunday.
- Have the Blue Devils finish third or better in the ACC for only the seventh time over the last 28 years. Overall, Duke has finished in third or better in the ACC a total of 12 times in 38 seasons.Â
- Head coach Kieran Hall would register the best finish in the ACC regular season out of Duke's two other women's soccer head coaches in their first season as the head coach -- Robbie Church (7th in 2001), Bill Hempen (4th in 1988).

- The top six teams at the end of the regular season advance to the ACC Championship. The top two teams receive a bye and then the No. 3 and No. 4 squads will host a quarterfinal match on Nov. 2.
