DURHAM, N.C.— Hey kids. Do you want to win a pizza party on behalf of Duke women's basketball? Head to your local library or your school library and pick up some books to join the Sisterhood Scholars Reading Program.
The Blue Devils will partner with area schools to encourage young students to explore the amazing world of books with the school who reads the most winning a pizza party with the Blue Devils.
The Sisterhood Scholars Reading Program is an extension of Duke's Education Day hosted by the Blue Devils earlier this season. To be eligible for the program, students must be in the 8th grade or lower and attend a school in Durham, Orange, Chatham, Wake, Granville or Person County.
Students who read five books at their grade reading level by Monday, December 15th will receive a complimentary ticket for themselves and one parent or guardian to both the Dec. 18 Winter Wonderland game against South Dakota State and the Jan. 4
th game against Notre Dame.
The grade level at the school with the most Sisterhood Scholars will receive a pizza party in the spring semester, with the approval of the school's administration, from Duke Women's Basketball!
