DURHAM, N.C. – Duke swimming and diving concluded the second day of competition at the ACC Championships, hosted by the Greensboro Aquatics Center. Six Blue Devils posted new program top 10 times, while the women's 200 Freestyle Relay set a new school record and earned their NCAA A Cut.
KyAnh Truong and
Clare Logan tallied NCAA B Cuts in the 50 Freestyle, while
Martina Peroni earned a B Cut in the 200 IM.
NOTABLES
- Audrey Portello clocked a time of 4:48.32 in the 500 Freestyle on Wednesday, swimming her way into a tie for ninth on Duke's all-time performance list.
- In the 200 IM, Kyra Sommerstad posted a time of 1:59.42, moving into ninth all-time on the Blue Devils performance list.
- Clare Logan notched an NCAA B Cut on Wednesday, touching with a time of 22.42. Her tally also moves her into eighth all-time in the 50 Freestyle.
- Joining Logan on Wednesday, KyAnh Truong clocked a time of 22.23, earning herself an NCAA B Cut and posting the sixth-best performance in program lore.
- On the men's side, Charlie Morici touched with a time of 19.79, pushing his way to seventh on the all-time list in the 50 Freestyle.
- Michael Jiang added to his impressive season, touching with a time of 1:46.65 in the 200 IM, seventh-best in program history.
- The Blue Devils 200 Freestyle Relay team secured their 2025 NCAA A Cut during ACC Championships, clocking a time of 1:28.26 and setting a new school record.
- Rounding out day two of competition, Martina Peroni tallied a time of 1:59.39 in the 200 IM, earning her an NCAA B Cut in the event.
