- Duke continues a trend of scoring throughout the middle innings of games, tallying 98 of its 243 (40.3%) runs this season from the fourth to the sixth inning.
- Graduate Ben Miller continues to swing a hot bat as the second half of the season is officially underway. In his last 10 games, Miller has posted a .405 average (17-for-42) with five doubles and three home runs, driving in 14 RBI. His 13 home runs this season are third-most in the country, and he leads the ACC. The Durham, N.C., native tallied a .533 (8-for-15) week, as Duke secured its first series victory over NC State since 2014. This week, half of Miller's hits were for extra bases (2 2B, 2 HR) and posted a 1.067 slugging percentage.
- The 2025 Duke squad is steadier at the play, drawing 209 walks so far this season. That mark is tied for second in the country trailing VMI (229) and Georgia State (209). The 209 walks also lead the ACC.
- Duke improved to 46-1 since 2023 when scoring 10-plus runs in a contest on Tuesday, downing Davidson 12-0 at Jack Coombs Field. In 2025, Duke is now 10-0 when hitting that tally on the scoreboard.
