DURHAM, N.C. – Duke women's lacrosse wrapped up its season with many milestones and worthy notables – both as a team and at the individual level. The Blue Devils' season ended with a 14-6 overall record and a 6-3 mark in conference games.
NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP QUARTERFINALS APPEARANCE
- Duke women's lacrosse made it to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Championship for the first time since 2021 and 17th overall in program history.
- They traveled to Gainesville, Fla. where the Blue Devils nearly came back to best fourth-seeded Florida, 11-9, as they held the Gators scoreless for over 24 minutes and Duke went on a six-goal scoring stretch.
NO. 9 FINAL IWLCA RANKING
- Duke women's lacrosse finished with a season-high ranking of No. 9 in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA), as announced on May 27.
- The ranking marks the highest finish the team has earned since its No. 8 finish in 2021.
10+ GOALS
- Duke opened the season scoring 10 or more goals in 15 consecutive games this season. This mark tied the program's record for most double-digits goals scored to open the season.
- Duke scored 10 or more goals 17 times this season, netting its season-high 17 four times: High Point (2/9), Louisville (4/12), James Madison (5/9) and Virginia (5/11).
WINS, WINS, WINS
- The Blue Devils posted 14 overall wins along with six conference triumphs – marking the most victories Duke has earned in both categories since 2022.
- Duke went on a six-game unbeaten streak in the middle of the season, stretching from March 21 to April 12.
MILESTONES HIT THIS YEAR
- Head Coach Kerstin Kimel hit 350 wins at Duke with the victory over Xavier on March 2. Her 364 career wins rank sixth among active women's Division I head coaches.
- Eva Pronti set the program's single-season assist record with her 49 helpers this year.
- Carly Bernstein surpassed 50 career assists paired with 50 career goals – a mark only 18 other Blue Devils have done before.
- Kennedy Everson surpassed 200 career saves.
- Pronti set the single-game program assist record with seven helpers at Virginia (3/15) and tied that record with her seven dimes in the first round of the NCAA Championship against JMU (5/9).
- Callie Hem matched the Duke single-game goals record with eight goals in the first round of the NCAA Championship against JMU (5/9).
- Maddie MacDonald, Sadie Stafford, Reagan Digby, Lena Doreen and Mabel Overbeck each netted their first career goals this season.
- Amanda Paci tied second place in Duke's freshman caused turnovers records with 28 this season.
- Bernstein's 80 career assists polls at sixth on the Blue Devils' all-time individual career assists list.
- Kerry Nease sits fourth in Duke's all-time individual career draw control record with 226.
- Reilly Traynor hit 50 career caused turnovers this season.
AGAINST RANKED OPPONENTS
- The Blue Devils faced 11 ranked opponents this year and boasted a 5-6 ledger.
- The five wins over ranked opponents mark the most wins against ranked foes since Duke posted five during the 2016 season.

ALL-ACC HONORS
- Six Blue Devils earned all-conference recognition, as the ACC announced the 2025 All-ACC Women's Lacrosse teams on April 22. Hem, Bernstein and Nease were named Second Team All-ACC, while Caitlin Barrett, Bella Goodwin and Pronti were named Third Team All-ACC.
ALL-AMERICA STATUS
- Hem and Bernstein garnered multiple All-America honors. The duo earned honorable mention All-America status from USA Lacrosse Magazine and Inside Lacrosse, while they were named Third Team All-America by the IWLCA.
IWLCA SOUTH ALL-REGION TEAM
- Five Blue Devils were named to the 2025 IWLCA South All-Region Team, as announced by the organization on May 16.
- Bernstein headlined the honors as a South All-Region First Team selection, while Goodwin, Hem, Nease and Pronti were named to the South All-Region Second Team.
