DURHAM, N.C. – Head coachÂ
Brian Barnes announced the addition ofÂ
Eileen Bringman to the Duke swim and diving coaching staff on Friday. Bringman joins the Blue Devils after a decade of success at the club and collegiate levels.
Â
In addition to Bringman, Barnes announced that bothÂ
Riley Boulden andÂ
Kate Moore have been elevated to Associate Head Coaches.
Â
Bringman arrives in Durham after serving as the Assistant Head Coach at Cornell, after being promoted to that role after the 2024 season. During her time with the Big Red, she helped guide the team to historic performances, highlighted by 20 school records and 95 program top 10 performances.
Â
In the summer of 2023, Bringman was selected to the U.S. coaching staff at the World University Games in Chengdu, China, where she supported top-level collegiate athletes on the international stage.
Â
Before joining Cornell, Bringman spent nearly a decade leading the Lake Shore Swim Club in Cleveland, where she doubled the team's membership, coached multiple athletes to regional and national rankings, and was named Lake Erie Coach of the Year in 2021. She began her coaching career as the Head Coach at Fairview High School.
Â
A swimmer at Pacific University, Bringman was a school record holder in the 100 and 200 backstroke, multiple relays, and served as a team captain. She earned her B.S. in Exercise Science.Â
