DURHAM, N.C. – Duke fencing closes the regular season slate with a pair of meets this weekend. The slate is headlined by the Blue Devils' annual home meet – the Beguinet Classic – which will be held Feb. 7 inside the Wilson Recreation Center.
The Blue Devil men will compete in Saturday's Beguinet Classic with the women closing the weekend Sunday (Feb. 8) in Chapel Hill at the Miller Invitational.
Saturday's event also features Duke's Senior Day celebration at 12:15 p.m. The Blue Devils will honor

WHAT TO KNOW:
- The No. 8 Duke men open action Saturday at 8:30 a.m., with the competition slate featuring Air Force, No. 11 Boston College, Brandeis, Johns Hopkins and No. 1 Notre Dame.
- On Sunday, the No. 5 Blue Devil women get going at 8 a.m. Duke is set to fence against Air Force, Boston College, Brandeis, No. 2 Notre Dame and No. 14 Temple.
LAST TIME OUT:
- Duke fencing put together a strong performance at the Philadelphia Invitational, closing the two-day meet with a combined record of 15-2. The No. 5 women ended the weekend with an 8-1 mark while the eighth-ranked men went 7-1.
- The men's squad posted wins over No. 15 UCSD (14-13), No. 13 NYU (18-9), Haverford (21-6), No. 9 Penn State (18-9), Lafayette (22-5), Wagner (22-5) and NJIT (17-10). The lone loss came in the bout against No. 10 Yale (10-17).
- On the women's side, the Blue Devils notched victories over UCSD (18-9), NYU (19-8), Haverford (25-2), No. 10 Penn State (21-6), NJIT (25-2), Lafayette (27-0), Wagner (23-4) and FDU (25-2). The Duke women also fell to Yale, dropping a tight contest to the ninth-ranked Bulldogs, 12-15.
- Ten Duke women posted double-digit wins during the weekend, paced by junior Charlotte Koenig (foil) with 19. On the men's side, rookie Abdelrahman Tolba (foil) led the charge as he finished the meet with a perfect 17-0 mark
UP NEXT:
The Blue Devils begin postseason competition, starting with the 2026 ACC Championships. The conference meet, hosted by Duke, is slated for Feb. 21-22 inside Cameron Indoor Stadium.
