RALEIGH, N.C. – Duke track and field delivered a strong showing at the Raleigh Relays, with four event wins,15 podium finishes and a handful of top-five program marks highlighting the weekend.Â

The Duke sprints spearheaded the weekend efforts as sophomores
Braelyn Baker (400 meters) and
Maya Collins (100 meters) and senior
Lauren Tolbert (800 meters) combined for three of the team's first-place finishes. Each logged times ranked in the top five of the NCAA this season. Junior
Gemma Tutton led the way for Duke field events with a victory in the women's pole vault invite.Â
TOP PERFORMANCES:
- Collins and junior Mia Edim collected the first two podium finishes for Duke, going 1-2 in the women's 100-meter dash. Collins smashed the Duke school record with a time of 11.29 – second in the NCAA. Edim notched a personal best of 11.41 to finish runner-up and improve her No. 4 all-time mark.
- In the women's 400, Baker and Tolbert kept the momentum going for the Duke women's sprints as the pair captured the top two spots courtesy of personal-best performances.
- Baker slotted herself atop the Blue Devil charts, while also dismantling the stadium and facility records, with a mark of 50.80. Tolbert moved into a tie for No. 2 in program lore after hitting the tape in 51.30. The duo's times rank first and second, respectively, in the NCAA.
- Tolbert earned her second top-two finish of the weekend as the senior crossed the line first in the women's 800, clocking 2:04.02 - tied for the fastest time in the country.
- Tutton made her season debut and notched a win in the women's pole vault invite. The junior passed on the first two heights before taking on the bar set at 4.21m (13-9.75 feet) and clearing the winning height on her second attempt.
- Sophomore TJ Rowan turned in the best showing of his collegiate career en route to a second-place finish in the men's pole vault invite. Rowan took on three heights during the competition and cleared the last two on his initial attempt, with his final mark of 5.27m (17-3.50 feet) checking in at No. 5 in Duke history.
- Baker turned in another impressive showing – this one coming in the women's 400 hurdles. The sophomore hit the tape in a personal-best 55.77 – No. 1 in the NCAA – to earn the second-place finish, while also moving into a tie for No. 2 all-time in program history.
- The men's 4x100Â relay of sophomore Andrew Steele, graduate students Colin O'Malley and Liam O'Hara and sophomore Tobias Williams earned a runner-up finish in their race with a season-best of 40. 23. The time checked in as the fifth fastest in program lore.
- Senior Gianna Locci took second in the women's long jump, making her third attempt the charm and flying out 6.20m (20-4.25 feet).
- Duke produced solid showings in the men's and women's 4x400Â relay with both units finishing in the top three of their respective races. The women's quartet of freshman Taylor Aska, Edim, rookie Arabella Wilson and sophomore Amber Wimbish clocked a season-best 3:35.52, while the men's contingent of O'Malley, sophomore Andres Langston, graduate student Michael Bennett and O'Hara ran 3:10.04 for third.
- Over in the men's 400 hurdles, Langston improved his own No. 2 Duke mark via a personal best of 50.45 – good for third overall.
- Edim collected another top-three placement at the meet, taking third in the women's 200Â via a dash of 23.43.
- Audrey DaDamio ran her way into the program record book with a steady race in the women's 10,000. The graduate student stopped the clock at 33:28.92 – No. 5 all-time on the Blue Devil charts.
