DURHAM, N.C. – Duke junior
Bryan Kim has been selected to the 2026 Golfweek Men's College Golf All-America Team as a third-team honoree, becoming the first Blue Devil to earn All-America recognition since 2020 and the first Duke golfer to garner Golfweek All-America honors since 2019.
A native of Brookeville, Maryland, Kim posted a 70.41 stroke average during the 2025-26 campaign, the second-best single-season mark in Duke history. He established program records with 28 par-or-better rounds, 24 under-par rounds and 18 rounds in the 60s, surpassing the previous standard of 16 set by Duke alum
Alex Smalley during the 2018-19 season.
Kim collected two individual victories during the year, tying for third on Duke's single-season wins list. He earned his first collegiate medalist honor at the Bryan Bros Collegiate, where he matched the Duke 54-hole scoring record with a 16-under-par 197 (66-66-65). He later captured the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate title with an 11-under-par 205 (67-69-69), leading the Blue Devils to a runner-up finish.
He also finished runner-up at the Tar Heel Intercollegiate and delivered one of the finest postseason performances in school history at the NCAA Marana Regional. Kim carded a final-round 7-under-par 65 to establish a Duke NCAA Regional 54-hole scoring record at 11-under-par 205 (72-68-65), finishing tied for sixth individually while helping the Blue Devils advance to the NCAA Championship.
Kim was ranked as high as No. 2 nationally during the fall and concluded the year ranked No. 24 by Scoreboard.Â
Kim's outstanding junior season earned him a spot on the spring watch list for the Haskins Award, presented annually to the nation's top collegiate golfer, and a place on the watch list for the Ben Hogan Award, given to the top amateur and collegiate golfer in the country. He was also named ACC Men's Golfer of the Month in October and selected as an All-American Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. In addition to his Golfweek All-America recognition, Kim earned NCAA Division I PING All-Region honors for a second straight year.
For his career, Kim ranks second in Duke history with a 71.47 stroke average and is among the program's top 10 performers in rounds in the 60s (31), under-par rounds (50) and par-or-better rounds (64).
Kim helped lead Duke to an NCAA Championship appearance, where the Blue Devils finished 13th, as well as five top-two team finishes during the 2025-26 season under first-year head coach
Bob Heintz.
