Duke Earns GCAA Presidents Special Recognition for Academic Excellence

NORMAN, Okla. -- Duke men's golf received Presidents Special Recognition as part of the 2025-26 PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Awards, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced Wednesday.
The Blue Devils are among 155 programs recognized for recording an average team grade-point average of 3.5 or higher during the 2025-26 academic year.
A GCAA-record 331 programs across six divisions earned PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Awards. The honorees represented NCAA Divisions I, II and III, the NAIA and NJCAA Divisions I and II.
The team recognition follows Monday's announcement that Daniel Choi, Ethan Evans, Bryan Kim, William Love and Ollie Mukherjee were named 2025-26 NCAA Division I Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars. Duke was one of just 23 Division I programs with at least five individual honorees.
