CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Duke seniors
Ethan Evans and
William Love, along with junior
Bryan Kim, have been selected to the 2026 All-ACC Men's Golf Team, as voted on by the league's head coaches.
The trio's selection marks just the second time in program history that Duke has produced three All-ACC honorees in the same season, joining
Alex Smalley,
Chandler Eaton and
Adrien Pendaries from the 2018-19 campaign.
Evans, Love and Kim also became the first trio in Duke men's golf history to each post a scoring average below 71.1 during the same season, helping guide the Blue Devils to one of the most successful campaigns in program history under first-year head coach
Bob Heintz.
Kim, a native of Brookeville, Maryland, delivered a record-setting junior season and earned All-ACC recognition for a second straight year. A third-team Golfweek All-American and PING All-America honorable mention selection, Kim concluded the year ranked No. 24 by Scoreboard after compiling a 70.41 stroke average, the second-lowest single-season mark in Duke history. He established program records with 28 par-or-better rounds, 24 under-par rounds and 18 rounds in the 60s, while adding two tournament victories. Kim tied a Duke record with a 16-under-par 197 to capture medalist honors at the Bryan Bros Collegiate and later set the program's NCAA Regional 54-hole record with an 11-under-par 205 to finish sixth individually in Marana, Arizona. He was named ACC Men's Golfer of the Month in October and earned spots on the Haskins Award and Ben Hogan Award watch lists.
Evans capped a standout senior campaign by earning PING All-America honorable mention honors and finishing No. 20 in the PGA TOUR University Ranking to secure PGA TOUR Americas membership. The Mercer Island, Washington, native posted a 71.00 stroke average, the fifth-best single-season mark in school history, while recording 26 par-or-better rounds and 21 under-par rounds. Evans tied for first at the ACC Championship with an 8-under-par 208, matching the third-lowest 54-hole score in Duke ACC Championship history and producing the program's best individual finish at the event since 2005. He later registered the best NCAA Championship finish by a Blue Devil in 20 years, tying for 10th place at 7-under-par 281 while breaking Duke's 72-hole NCAA Championship scoring record in relation to par. Evans recorded five top-10 finishes during the season, including three top-five showings and an individual title.
Love earned All-ACC honors following the finest season of his collegiate career. The Atlanta native posted a 71.03 stroke average, the sixth-best single-season mark in program history, while ranking second in school history for par-or-better rounds in a season with 27. Love collected two top-two finishes during the spring, highlighted by co-medalist honors at the Seahawk Intercollegiate after carding a 6-under-par 210. He also finished runner-up at The Hayt Collegiate with a 10-under-par 206, defeating eight golfers ranked among the nation's top 20. Love was recognized as ACC Men's Golfer of the Month in March and closed the regular season by climbing 36 spots over the final two rounds of the ACC Championship to finish tied for 15th place.
