DURHAM, N.C. -- Duke men's golfers
Ethan Evans and
Bryan Kim have been named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) NCAA Division I Academic All-District® Men's At-Large Team, honoring the nation's top student-athletes for their combined excellence in competition and in the classroom.
Both student-athletes were selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists and will advance to the national ballot, with honorees to be announced July 8.
Evans, a native of Mercer Island, Washington, graduated in May with a bachelor's degree in economics and a minor in political science, finishing with a 3.63 cumulative GPA, including a 3.925 GPA in the fall of 2025.
On the course, Evans closed his senior campaign among the most accomplished in program history. He earned All-ACC and PING All-America honorable mention honors and finished No. 20 in the PGA TOUR University Ranking to secure PGA TOUR Americas membership. His 71.00 stroke average represented the fifth-best single-season mark in school history, supported by 26 par-or-better rounds and 21 under-par rounds.
Evans tied for first at the ACC Championship at 8-under-par 208, matching the third-lowest 54-hole score in Duke ACC Championship history and the program's best individual finish at that event since 2005. He then delivered the best NCAA Championship performance by a Blue Devil in 20 years, tying for 10th at 7-under-par 281, while breaking Duke's 72-hole NCAA Championship scoring record in relation to par. Evans recorded five top-10 finishes on the season, including three top-five showings and one individual title.
Kim, a sociology major out of Brookeville, Maryland, carries a 3.78 cumulative GPA and achieved a perfect 4.00 GPA in the spring 2026 semester.Â
Kim delivered a record-setting junior season to claim his second consecutive selection to the All-ACC Team. A third-team Golfweek All-American and PING All-America honorable mention honoree, he concluded the year ranked No. 24 by Scoreboard with a 70.41 stroke average, the second-lowest single-season mark in Duke history. He set program records with 28 par-or-better rounds, 24 under-par rounds and 18 rounds in the 60s, while adding two tournament victories.
Kim tied a Duke record with a 16-under-par 197 to capture medalist honors at the Bryan Bros Collegiate and later set the program's NCAA Regional 54-hole record at 11-under-par 205, finishing sixth individually in Marana, Ariz. He was named ACC Men's Golfer of the Month in October and earned spots on both the Haskins Award and Ben Hogan Award watch lists.
