DURHAM, N.C. – Duke men's golf standouts
Ethan Evans,
Bryan Kim and
William Love have been selected to the 2026 NCAA Division I PING All-East Region Team, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).
With three selections, Duke has produced at least two PING All-Region honorees in nine of the last 11 seasons.
Evans and Kim each secured all-region recognition for the second consecutive year, while Love earned the distinction for the third time in his career. Evans and Love were previously recognized in 2024, while Love also collected all-region honors in 2023.
The trio helped guide Duke to one of the most successful seasons in program history under first-year head coach
Bob Heintz. The Blue Devils recorded a school-record 27 under-par rounds, posted the second-lowest single-season scoring average in program history and advanced to the NCAA Championship, where they finished 13th nationally, the program's best showing since 2018.
A senior from Mercer Island, Washington, Evans capped his Duke career with one of the finest postseason performances in school history. He tied for 10th place at the NCAA Championship after carding a 7-under-par 281, establishing a new Duke record in relation to par at the national championship. Evans also tied for medalist honors at the ACC Championship and later finished No. 20 in the PGA TOUR University Ranking to earn PGA TOUR Americas membership for the remainder of the 2026 season. During his senior campaign, Evans registered five top-10 finishes, including three top-five showings and a tournament victory.
Kim, a junior from Brookeville, Maryland, continued his emergence as one of the nation's top collegiate golfers. Ranked No. 24 nationally by Scoreboard, Kim rewrote several Duke single-season records in 2025-26, setting new program standards for rounds in the 60s (18), under-par rounds (24) and rounds of par or better (28). He also claimed two individual titles, highlighted by a record-tying 16-under-par 197 at the Bryan Bros Collegiate, and established a Duke NCAA Regional scoring record with an 11-under-par 205 in Marana, Arizona.
A senior from Atlanta, Georgia, Love earned all-region accolades after another consistent season in the Blue Devil lineup. He finished the year with a 71.03 stroke average, recorded 27 rounds of par or better and collected 11 rounds in the 60s. Love earned ACC Men's Golfer of the Month honors in March following a runner-up finish at The Hayt Collegiate and co-medalist honors at the Seahawk Intercollegiate. He also delivered a strong performance at the ACC Championship, climbing 36 places over the final two rounds to finish tied for 15th.
The PING All-Region teams recognize the top collegiate golfers across the country and are selected by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
